1 Person Dead After Vehicle Hits Pole near Marine Avenue in Gardena

 
GARDENA, CA (December 18, 2023) — One person died after a car crashed into a pole near Marine Avenue and Chadron Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car crash happened around 5:10 a.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a driver lost control of a car and crashed into a pole in Gardena.
 
Subsequently, paramedics arrived and took three people from the car to a hospital in an unknown condition. One person, however, passed away at the scene. Officials did not release the victim’s name.
 
At the time of the report, authorities did not confirm the leading cause of the accident but are looking into the crash more closely.
