Person Killed in Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on Huntington Drive

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 29, 2022) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on Huntington Drive near Eastern Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 1:50 p.m. on Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a pedestrian was hit in the 4900 block of South Huntington Drive near Ernest E. Debs Regional Park.
 
Due to the impact, the vehicle rolled over, but the driver was able to escape without help.
 
Soon after, paramedics with the LAFD responded to the scene to bring the driver to a hospital in fair condition. As for the unidentified pedestrian, the individual sustained fatal injuries.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the leading cause of the crash. However, we will update this report with more information.
