1 Person Killed in Solo-Car Crash on 710 Freeway in Paramount

 
PARAMOUNT, CA (December 18, 2023) — One person died in an overturned car crash on the 710 Freeway near Alondra Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car crash happened around 5:15 a.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a Toyota driver crashed, causing the vehicle to overturn on the 710 Freeway in Paramount. Moments after, traffic investigators and paramedics arrived on the southbound freeway to find a Toyota sedan involved in the crash.
 
Due to the incident, officers issued a Sigalert at 5:36 a.m. for the southbound lanes before opening up the No. 1 lane around 6:16 a.m.
 
As a result of the crash, one person died in the accident. Authorities have yet to release the factors contributing to the accident and the victim’s name.
