1 Person Killed in 5 Freeway Pedestrian Crash in Anaheim

 
ANAHEIM, CA (July 17, 2023) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on the 5 Freeway near the 91 Freeway junction.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 1:50 a.m. Friday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a pedestrian at the freeway’s junction.
 
The victim, whose age, gender, and name were unavailable, died in the crash. Authorities closed all lanes of the southbound freeway to investigate.
 
Reports did not release information on the driver or the factors of the crash. However, if any witnesses can help the CHP, please call the department.
