Head-On Accident on Highway 79 in Aguanga Kills One and Sends Another to Hospital

 
AGUANGA, CA (November 30, 2021) – One person died and another person suffered injuries after a head-on accident on Highway 79 in Aguanga on Tuesday, November 23.
 
The accident happened around 5:29 a.m. at the intersection with Sage Road. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
Emergency responders found one person dead and another in need of helicopter transport to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still trying to determine the cause of the crash and whether drugs or alcohol played a factor.
