1 Person Hurt in Hit-and-Run 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 70 in Oroville

 
OROVILLE, CA (April 2, 2024) — One person suffered an injury in a hit-and-run 2-car accident on Highway 70 near Cherokee Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 4:45 p.m. on March 30. For an unknown reason, a driver of a white Dodge pickup truck rear-ended a driver. Subsequently, the victim’s car rolled down an embankment while the Dodge driver fled toward Yankee Hill and Concow area.
 
Soon after, police arrived and found the victim with unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, authorities do not have information on the driver. However, if anyone can help identify the motorist’s whereabouts, please call the CHP at (530) 332-1200.
