Fatal Off-Road Crash on Indian Creek Truck Trail in Banning

 
BANNING, CA (January 2, 2024) — One person died in an off-road accident on Indian Creek Truck Trail near Indian Creek Road Wednesday.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the deadly off-terrain crash happened Wednesday afternoon. Under unclear circumstances, an all-terrain vehicle overturned with two occupants on board. Tragically, one of the occupants died at the scene. Soon after, paramedics arrived and took the other patient to a regional trauma center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
Following the crash, deputies began investigating the details, but the cause of the accident remains unclear. However, if anyone has information surrounding what caused the accident, please call the sheriff’s deputies.
