1 Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Golden Valley Road in Canyon Country

 
CANYON COUNTRY, CA (September 11, 2023) — One person died in a motorcycle accident on Golden Valley Road near Newhall Ranch Road.
 
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the deadly multi-car crash happened early Friday. For an unknown reason, a driver of an unknown vehicle crossed over the center median around 5:50 a.m. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a motorcyclist and two other cars, including a Tesla.
 
The motorcycle rider who remains unidentified died in the accident. The Los Angeles County Medical Coroner’s Office has yet to release the person’s name.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, paramedics transported one patient to a nearby hospital. However, the extent of the victim’s injuries is unclear.
 
Traffic investigators confirmed that there were no signs of intoxication during the preliminary investigation. However, a deep dive into the crash should confirm any unclear details.
