Estrella Pantoja Detained in Deadly DUI T-Bone Crash at Quail Lakes Drive and Pershing Avenue

 
STOCKTON, CA (July 15, 2024) — Estrella Pantoja faces DUI charges following a fatal broadside accident at Quail Lakes Drive and Pershing Avenue.
 
According to the Stockton Police Department, the deadly two-car crash happened around 1:00 a.m. Sunday. While impaired, 24-year-old Estrella Preciosa Pantoja allowed her vehicle to strike another car in the Lakeview District of Stockton.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel responded and took the 22-year-old female driver of the second car to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Officials have not released her name.
 
After the crash, officers arrested Pantoja after determining that either drugs or alcohol factored into the cause. She faces vehicular manslaughter with negligence and two felony counts of DUI.
