1 Dead in Pedestrian Crash on 10 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga

 
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (April 26, 2024) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on the 10 Freeway near Central Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a driver struck a person near the No. 3 and 4 lanes of the 10 Freeway near Central Avenue.
 
Subsequently, authorities responded to the scene and confirmed one fatality, later drawing the coroner to the scene. Officials did not release the fatal victim’s name.
 
At this time, the factors leading to the crash are unknown. However, the California Highway Patrol investigators will identify an explanation for what occurred here. If anyone has insight, please call CHP investigators.
