Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on City Terrace Drive in East LA

 
EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (August 23, 2022) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident at City Terrace Drive and McGilvrey Avenue on Friday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:26 p.m. in the East Los Angeles area. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a Honda car struck the pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
 
First responders found the pedestrian lying down in the roadway. They attempted life-saving measures, but the pedestrian died at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
An investigation into this fatality is underway.
