Fatal Multi-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (August 22, 2022) – A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 15 freeway in Hesperia early Sunday, August 21.
 
The accident happened around 12:27 a.m. on the northbound freeway, just south of Bear Valley Road. According to the CHP, a black Camaro was weaving in and out of traffic when it collided with at least four other vehicles. A Mercedes C300 overturned from the impact and landed along the right shoulder in a drainage ditch.
 
Firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire responded and pronounced one female occupant dead at the scene.
 
Another woman suffered head injuries. In addition, two other people involved had minor injuries. Paramedics transported them to a local hospital for treatment.
 
The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending family notification.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
