3 Hurt in 2-Car Crash on Kanan Dume Road in Malibu

 
MALIBU, CA (June 21, 2022) — Three people were injured in Tuesday’s car accident on Kanan Dume Road at Zumirez Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 2-car accident happened around 7:40 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, two cars crashed at the intersection and left three people critically injured.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel responded and transported three patients to nearby hospitals. The Los Angeles County Fire Department decided to place the victims in the back of lifeguard pickup trucks since one of the ambulances was an estimated 50 minutes away.
 
At this time, investigators plan to look into the leading causes of the crash. However, if anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
