Scooter Rider Hits Moving Car on 65th Street in Emeryville

 
EMERYVILLE, CA (May 31, 2022) – One person was hospitalized in a scooter accident at 65th Street and Shellmound Street in Emeryville on Saturday, May 28.
 
According to the Emeryville Police Department, the scooter rider had crossed over a lowered train gate arm then crashed into the right side of a moving black sedan.
 
Responding paramedics took the scooter rider to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
After the crash, the driver of the sedan remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
The crash remains under investigation.
