SAN DIEGO, CA (April 11, 2022) – A driver suffered injuries in a tow truck accident on 805 Freeway on April 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near 47th Street shortly after 2:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the truck driver was assisting a stranded motorist on the side of a freeway at the time of the crash. The victim’s truck was on the right-hand shoulder, loading a disabled Dodge Charger. At the same time, a gray Honda CRV was speeding in and out of traffic. Consequently, it struck the Charger, sending it on top of the tow truck.
 
The impact knocked the truck driver several feet. As a result, the victim sustained minor injuries.
