Early Morning Multi-Vehicle Accident on 405 Freeway in Westminster Leaves 1 with Fatal Injuries

 
WESTMINSTER, CA (January 17, 2022) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 405 Freeway in Westminster, early Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 4:45 a.m. on January 16 at the intersection with Westminster Boulevard. CHP officials said an SUV, a sedan and another vehicle collided along the northbound lanes of the freeway. The impact caused one of them to slam into the center divider.
 
First responders found one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The identity of the victim was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
 
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the fatality.
