Pedestrian Suffers Major Injuries after Struck by Hit-And-Run Driver on Monument Boulevard in Concord

 
CONCORD, CA (December 13, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Monument Boulevard in Concord, early Saturday morning.
 
The crash happened around 2:00 a.m. on December 11 at Eureka Lane. According to the Concord Police Department, the male pedestrian was walking at the intersection when a car struck him. The driver of the car continued westbound, without rendering aid.
 
When officers arrived, they found the pedestrian suffering from major injuries. Paramedics then transported the victim to a hospital in an unknown condition.
