COACHELLA, CA (November 16, 2021) — A man was arrested in a DUI rollover accident on Van Buren Street near Avenue 48.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the hit-and-run two-car accident happened around 6:49 p.m. For DUI-related reasons, a 32-year-old man collided with an SUV near Rancho Las Flores Park. Due to the impact, the SUV overturned and trapped an adult passenger and a juvenile passenger.
 
Soon after, deputies responded and paramedics freed the passengers from the overturned vehicle. Per reports, they should survive their injuries.
