One Person Hurt in Victorville Multi-Car Collision on Mojave Drive

VICTORVILLE, CA (October 28, 2021) — One person sustained moderate injuries in a multi-car accident on Mojave Drive near Topaz Avenue Monday morning.

According to Sheriff’s officials, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 11:38 a.m. During a reported dust storm, two cars crashed and one vehicle pulled over. However, a third vehicle became involved as it slammed into the car that pulled to the shoulder.

Subsequently, two more vehicles driving through the area became involved in the accident and sustained minor damages.

Shortly after, Victorville City Firefighters responded and transported one person with moderate injuries to a trauma center.

At this time, officials believe gusty winds and inclement weather may have contributed to the accident. However, authorities plan to investigate this case more closely.

When driving in inclement weather, pull over or slow down. At times, we cannot compete with Mother Nature when it can jeopardize our safety on the road. Remember this the next time a severe storm occurs.
