CONTRA COSTA, CA (October 28, 2021) — At least one person died in a head-on accident near Brentwood Boulevard and Byron Highway on Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to a report, the fatal accident happened around 3:28 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, two cars collided head-on. Soon after, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to an unincorporated Brentwood area.
 
There, officials confirmed at least one fatality.
