Wilder Bastante Dies in Accident with Semi-Truck on 60 Freeway near Grove Avenue

 
ONTARIO, CA (September 27, 2021) — Wilder Bastante died in a crash with a semi-truck on the 60 Freeway near Grove Avenue Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the violent incident happened around 12:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, 63-year-old Wilder Salas Bastante slammed into the back of a big rig on the eastbound freeway.
 
Due to the nature of the collision, the Hesperia man suffered severe injuries and died at the scene at 12:56 a.m.
 
Following the accident, commuters faced heavy traffic for several miles due to the investigation and cleanup.
