Car Accident on Markham Street in Perris Leaves One Dead

 
PERRIS, CA (September 13, 2021) – One person died and another one had sustained injuries after a car accident at Markham Street and Indian Avenue late Wednesday evening.
 
The accident happened around 10:02 p.m. on September 8. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, a car had crashed at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
When firefighters arrived, they found one person inside the vehicle who had to be removed and taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
 
Another person was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
At this time, an investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause and factors involved.
