Pedestrian Suffers Broken Leg in Hit-and-Run on Euclid Avenue in Ridgeview-Webster Area

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 16, 2021) – A woman sustained injuries in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Euclid Avenue in Ridgeview-Webster area Wednesday evening.
 
The crash happened around 8:56 p.m. on August 11. According to the San Diego Police Department, the 51-year-old woman was pushing an empty wheelchair across the middle of Euclid Avenue when a red sedan struck her. The driver of the car then fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Paramedics arrived at the scene and rushed the victim to a hospital with a broken leg.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large. Police are still investigating the incident.
