Stefano Albano Dead, Becky Ettinger Charged in DUI Motorcycle Crash on Laguna Canyon Road near El Toro Road

 
LAGUNA BEACH, CA (August 9, 2021) — Stefano Albano died in a motorcycle accident on Laguna Canyon Road near El Toro Road Saturday night.
 
According to news reports, the fatal crash happened around 10:15 p.m. While driving on Laguna Canyon Road, 68-year-old Becky Merrifield Ettinger attempted a U-turn but crashed into 55-year-old Albano who attempted to pass on the left side.
 
Shortly thereafter, paramedics responded and pronounced Albano, of Corona, dead at the scene. During the investigation, officers arrested Ettinger, of Huntington Beach, after she showed signs of intoxication.
