FONTANA, CA (July 30, 2021) – Officers arrested a driver following a hit-and-run on Merrill Avenue in the early morning of July 23.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Locust Avenue.
 
Based on reports, two Ford Explorers and a Ford F-150 pickup collided in the lanes. However, it was not immediately known which vehicle started the crash. Afterward, officers said the suspect ran westbound on Merrill. Then, they were able to locate the man and bring him back to the scene.
 
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident.
 
However, officials arrested the suspect for crashing his vehicle into two others.
 
At this point, this hit-and-run crash on Merrill Avenue is still under investigation.
