FRESNO, CA (June 15, 2021) – Emergency crews transported two people to the hospital following a big rig accident on Central Avenue on June 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Minnewawa Avenue shortly before 5:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, a white Honda was driving south at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it blew a stop sign. At that time, a tanker truck was coming from the west. Consequently, the big rig T-boned the Honda, leaving the driver pinned in the car.
 
As a result, the victim sustained serious injuries in the incident. Firefighters used heavy machinery to cut him out. Immediately, emergency crews transported him to the hospital for treatment.
