Pedestrian Dies in Barstow Hit-and-Run on Lenwood Drive near Camino Del Sol

 
BARSTOW, CA (April 26, 2021) – Marvin Lane Beamon III was killed in a pedestrian hit-and-run in Barstow Wednesday morning, April 21.
 
The fatal incident happened around 6:09 a.m. on Lenwood Road north of Camino Del Sol. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 36-year-old man was walking north on Lenwood Road within the northbound lane when a vehicle traveling in the same direction struck him.
 
A passerby located Marvin and attempted saving him, but he died at the scene. Authorities said he was from Reno, Nevada.
 
The suspect fled the scene and investigators believe that the vehicle should have some damage on the right front side.
