Person Dies in Desert Hot Springs Pedestrian Accident on Palm Drive

 
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (February 5, 2021) — One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on Palm Drive near Dillon Road Thursday night.
 
According to a Department Public Information officer, the fatal accident happened around 7:40 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, a driver struck the pedestrian just south of Dillon Road. Soon after, authorities responded to investigate and question the driver, who stayed at the scene.
 
While investigations took place, crews closed the north and southbound lanes of Palm Drive from Dillon Road to Varner Road.
 
At this time, no arrests or citations have been announced. In addition, the victim has not been identified.
