NEWPORT BEACH, CA (January 24, 2021) – A man who died in a car accident early Sunday morning in Newport Beach has been identified.
 
The accident happened just before 5:00 a.m. in the 6900 block of West Coast Highway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Zackary Topolewski-Jury crashed his car into a fixed object. The impact caused him severe injuries.
 
Responding paramedics rushed him to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, where he later died.
 
No one else sustained injuries in the crash. However, the accident is being investigated by Newport Beach police.
