LOS ANGELES, CA (April 28, 2022) — Yovany Rodriguez died moments after a head-on accident occurred on Gage Avenue at Avalon Boulevard.
 
According to officials, the head-on crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday. What authorities thought was a head-on crash they were investigating resulted in a possible shooting. Prior to the head-on accident, an unidentified suspect shot 39-year-old Rodriguez while he was driving.
