Yosef Cohen Dead, Kristen Wulff Involved in Aptos Pedestrian Accident on Highway 1

 
APTOS, CA (November 4, 2022) — Yosef Cohen died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 1 near Freedom Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on October 27. For unknown reasons, 28-year-old Cohen was bolting through oncoming southbound and northbound traffic without a t-shirt.
 
After an influx of 911 calls from drivers rushed in, another caller contacted authorities saying that she had just struck a man. Officers arrived soon after and found 56-year-old Kristen Wulff, of Aptos, whose southbound Honda CRV had just struck Cohen.
 
The Santa Cruz man sustained fatal injuries in the accident. It’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a factor in the accident, but authorities plan to investigate what happened.
