Late Evening Hit-and-Run Crash in Pico Rivera Kills 36-Year-Old Woman

 
PICO RIVERA, CA (March 15, 2023) – Yesenia Sanchez was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Pico Rivera late Sunday evening on March 12.
 
The fatal crash happened around 11:22 p.m. at Rooks Road and Rose Hills Road. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, three female adults were walking southbound on the curb of Rooks Road approaching Rose Hills Road, when a vehicle struck two of them.
 
After striking the victims, the vehicle continued southbound on Rooks Road without stopping.
 
Sanchez suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was 36 years old from Los Angeles died.
 
Meanwhile, the other woman suffered serious injuries. The third woman was unharmed.
