Bicyclist Dies after Crash with Vehicle at Ramon Road and Compadre Road

 
PALM SPRINGS, CA (March 15, 2023) – Nelson Esteban was killed in a bicycle accident in Palm Springs early Monday morning on March 13.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:45 a.m. at the intersection of Ramon Road and Compadre Road. According to the Palm Springs Police Department, Esteban was riding his bicycle when he collided with a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
 
First responders rushed him to Desert Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. He was 58 years old from Palm Springs, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
 
The male driver was arrested on charges unrelated to the crash, police said.
