Morning Two-Vehicle Crash near Alma Avenue in San Jose Kills 1 Driver

 
SAN JOSE, CA (December 14, 2022) – A woman died in a two-vehicle accident near Alma Avenue and Pomona Avenue in San Jose on Tuesday morning.
 
The accident happened around 6:16 a.m. on December 13. According to the San Jose Police Department, a 2019 Ford truck entered the intersection and collided with a 1995 Honda sedan, driven by the victim.
 
The woman was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Shortly after arriving, she was pronounced dead.
 
Meanwhile, the adult male driver of the Ford truck remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
There was no indication of drug or alcohol influence on either driver.
 
Traffic investigators will provide a determination regarding right of way at the intersection on a later date.
