Broadside Crash Involving Two Cars on Irvine Boulevard Kills 1 and Injures 2

 
IRVINE, CA (June 5, 2023) – A woman died in a two-car accident on Irvine Boulevard Saturday on June 3.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:51 p.m. just east of Sand Canyon Avenue. According to the Irvine Police Department, a white BMW 430i carrying five people and a gold Lexus RX300 were involved in a broadside crash.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the 47-year-old woman to a hospital with significant injuries. Sadly, the woman did not survive and was declared dead. She was one of the passengers in the BMW.
 
Two other passengers in the BMW were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The Lexus driver stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Neither alcohol nor drugs appeared to factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
