Traffic Accident on Montalvo Road in Saratoga Kills 1 and Injures Another

 
SARATOGA, CA (October 13, 2022) – A woman died in a traffic accident on Montalvo Road in Saratoga on Tuesday morning, October 11.
 
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 15000 block of Montalvo Road, just near Hill Avenue. According to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, two people were gathering their belongings out of their parked vehicles when a driver who was trying to park struck them.
 
One of the victims, a woman in her 40s, died at the scene.
 
The other victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office withheld the identity of the deceased pending family notification.
 
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
