Hit-and-Run Driver Hits, Kills Pedestrian on Broadway in North Oak Park

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (August 31, 2022) – A woman died in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Broadway in the North Oak Park area of Sacramento on Monday evening, August 29.
 
Around 8:05 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department responded to the 3700 block of Broadway after receiving reports of a hit-and-run crash.
 
When they arrived, they found the woman lying on the roadway with serious injuries. They rushed her to a hospital, where the victim later died.
 
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim after next of kin have been notified.
 
No suspect vehicle information was available at this time. Further investigation is underway.
