Woman Dies in Spring Valley Pedestrian Accident on Paradise Valley Road

 
SPRING VALLEY, CA (April 19, 2022) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Paradise Valley Road near Worthington Street on Saturday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian crash occurred around 11:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a woman walking northbound on Paradise Valley Road stepped in front of an eastbound SUV, subsequently causing the 52-year-old Lakeside male driver to hit her.
 
Shortly after, paramedics and officers responded to the scene, but the woman succumbed to her injury moments later.
 
At this time, officers do not suspect that the driver was under the influence. However, they believe the woman might have consumed alcohol before the incident.
