Rider Suffers Injuries after Colliding with Cadillac on Imperial Avenue in Valencia Park Neighborhood

 
VALENCIA PARK, CA (April 19, 2022) – A 38-year-old motorcyclist suffered injuries in an accident on Imperial Avenue on Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:45 p.m. on April 15 near the intersection with San Jacinto Drive. According to the San Diego Police Department, the motorcyclist was riding his motorcycle westbound in the 5200 block of Imperial Avenue.
 
As he approached the intersection, he sideswiped a 2016 Cadillac as he attempted to pass the vehicle while it was making a left turn onto San Jacinto.
 
As a result, the victim suffered a fractured femur. Responding paramedics took him to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
