Homeless Pedestrian Pushing Cart Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Lincoln Boulevard in Santa Monica

 
SANTA MONICA, CA (January 16, 2024) – A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Lincoln Boulevard in Santa Monica early Saturday morning on January 13.
 
According to the Santa Monica Police Department, the woman was pushing a cart when a vehicle struck her in the 2900 block of Lincoln Boulevard.
 
The woman suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said she was someone in her 50s and appeared to be homeless.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with officers. Police said there were no signs of impairment.
