Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Etiwanda Avenue in Jurupa Valley

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (January 16, 2024) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Etiwanda Avenue in Jurupa Valley early Saturday morning on January 13.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle struck the female pedestrian in the 4000 block of Etiwanda Avenue around 4:24 a.m.
 
After striking the victim, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
When deputies arrived, they located the victim in a business parking lot with obvious signs of trauma and pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the woman’s identity was not immediately available and the suspect remains at large.
 
Authorities urged anyone with information to call Deputy Packer of the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station at 951-955-2600 or the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office dispatch at 951-776-1099.
