Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on MacArthur Boulevard near 90th Avenue [Oakland, CA]

66-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on MacArthur Boulevard in East Oakland

 
OAKLAND, CA (January 17, 2024) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash on MacArthur Boulevard in East Oakland Sunday morning on January 14.
 
The fatal crash happened just before 9:00 a.m. near 90th Avenue. According to the Oakland Police Department, the woman was crossing MacArthur Boulevard when a white, four-door Cadillac Deville struck her.
 
After the crash, the driver of the Cadillac fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
The woman was rushed to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
 
The Alameda County Coroner’s Office only identified the victim as a 66-year-old Oakland resident.
