Woman Killed in High-Speed Crash on Dinuba Avenue at Fancher Street [Selma, CA]

Speeding Car Crashes into Home on Dinuba Avenue Killing Woman and Critically Injuring Man

 
SELMA, CA (May 30, 2023) – A woman was killed after a high-speed crash on Dinuba Avenue in Selma early Sunday morning on May 28.
 
The crash happened just after 4:00 a.m. at Fancher Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Kia Soul was traveling down Dinuba Avenue at high speeds when the driver crashed into a parked car and then hit a house.
 
The two people inside the car, a man and a 23-year-old woman, were both ejected. Both were rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
Despite life-saving efforts at the hospital, the woman was pronounced dead. She was not yet identified.
 
No one else was injured but the house was damaged in the crash.
 
It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
