Head-On Accident near Buena Vista Avenue in Riverside Kills 58-Year-Old Woman and Injures 18-Year-Old Man

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (April 4, 2022) – A woman was killed in a head-on accident near Buena Vista Avenue in Riverside on Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:11 p.m. on April 1 at Indian Hill Road. According to the Riverside Police Department, the woman was driving a red 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer when an 18-year-old Jurupa Valley man driving a black 2018 Audi sedan crossed over the middle line for unknown reasons. The Audi then collided head-on with the Chevrolet.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the woman to a hospital, where the victim succumbed to her injuries.
 
Authorities only identified the woman as a 58-year-old Jurupa Valley resident. They withheld her name pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, the teen driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital.
