Woman Dies in Van Nuys DUI Crash on Van Nuys Boulevard

 
VAN NUYS, CA (March 30, 2021) — A woman was killed in a DUI accident on Van Nuys Boulevard near Arminta Street Sunday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fatal crash occurred around 11:20 p.m. Per investigators, a 19-year-old man crashed into a vehicle waiting at the traffic light.
 
Soon after, authorities arrived, and firefighters freed one victim from one of the cars. Following the accident, paramedics transported four patients to a local hospital, three of whom in critical condition.
 
Unfortunately, a 25-year-old woman, an occupant of the stopped vehicle, died at a nearby hospital.
 
At this time, police have arrested the 19-year-old driver on suspicion of DUI. However, if anyone has more information on this fatal accident, please contact the Los Angeles police.
