BUTTE COUNTY, CA (October 28, 2021) — A woman suffered injuries in a rollover accident on Meridian Road at Highway 32 Wednesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 7:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, a woman in a Jeep Wrangler began to drive across the intersection of Highway 32 and Meridian Road after making a stop at the stop sign.

Subsequently, an eastbound Dodge Durango struck her Jeep Wrangler. As a result, the Jeep overturned and struck a fence before landing upside down in front of a home.

Soon after, paramedics responded and tended to her moderate injuries. Yet at this time, authorities have not determined other factors that contributed to the crash. However, an ongoing investigation continues.

When behind the wheel, take your time to clear the road. Slowing down and relaxing can benefit you and promote safety. Remember this the next time you drive.
