High-Speed Accident on Elverta Road Kills Man and Sends Another to Hospital

 
ELVERTA, CA (October 28, 2021) – One man was killed and another was hospitalized after a high-speed accident on Elverta Road Wednesday morning.
 
The accident happened just after 2:00 a.m. on October 27, at the Cherry Island Golf Course and Gibson Ranch. According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of a truck was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control, He then hit the gravel shoulder and slammed into a pole.
 
As a result, the driver died at the scene. he was only described as a man in his 40s.
 
A passenger in the truck, a man in his 20s, was taken to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
