Woman Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Houston Avenue in Visalia

 
VISALIA, CA (April 4, 2023) — A woman was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Houston Avenue and Rinaldi Street.
 
According to Visalia Police, the hit-and-run happened around 2:00 a.m. Monday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a woman near the intersection. Officers responded and found the unresponsive victim on the road. Soon after, emergency personnel took her to a local hospital in critical condition.
 
Unfortunately, the driver who struck her fled the scene before they could arrive on time. Now, officers need any witnesses’ help who can identify the vehicle and suspect involved. If anyone has information, please call the Traffic Unit at (559) 713-4237.
