Woman Hurt in Victorville Two-Car Crash on Palmdale Road

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 16, 2022) — A woman was injured in a car accident on Palmdale Road near Cantina Street on Sunday.
 
According to witnesses, the two-vehicle crash occurred around 1:10 p.m. Near the Wal-Mart shopping center, a driver in a white Lincoln Navigator and a driver in a silver four-door sedan crashed after the sedan reportedly blew through a red traffic light.
 
Soon after, firefighters from the Victorville Fire Department reached the scene and extricated one occupant trapped in a vehicle. From there, officials requested a helicopter to land at Victor Valley Global Medical Center to airlift the woman to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
 
At this time, the ultimate cause of the crash requires more investigation by the Victorville Police Department. If anyone has more information, please call the Victorville Police.
