Officer Among Hurt in Multi-Car Crash at Mission Boulevard in Fremont

 
FREMONT, CA (August 16, 2022) — An officer was among those injured in a multi-car accident at Mission Boulevard and Warm Springs Boulevard.
 
According to Fremont Police officers, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 10:40 a.m. on Monday. Under unclear circumstances, an officer responding to a service call with lights and sirens on crashed into an uninvolved vehicle at the intersection.
 
Due to the impact, the second driver continued straight and slammed into several vehicles, including a shuttle bus.
 
Shortly after, paramedics reached the scene and brought the officer to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. At least one driver complained of pain but declined hospital transportation.
